As a Milwaukee-based dental hygienist with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, I’ve dedicated my work to both patient care and outreach. My time in the operatory and the classroom continues to remind me that a healthy smile and access to opportunity can change an entire community.

 

Through Future Smiles Project, I visit high schools and community events to share real-world advice about oral health and career paths. My mission is to inspire more students, especially those from underrepresented communities, to explore rewarding opportunities in oral health care.

 

I believe underrepresentation in dentistry often isn’t about ability or interest, it’s about awareness. When students see what’s possible, they start to imagine themselves in those roles. That’s where the next generation of dental professionals begins.
